We’re helping young Australians aged 7 to 21 years solve the local and global problems of tomorrow, today!

What is the Challenge?

The Westpac Youth Impact Challenge is a nationwide initiative open to all young people around Australia aged 7 to 21 years. The Challenge aims to help young Australians solve problems in their local or global communities.

To take part in the Challenge, participants must identify a local or global problem and brainstorm an innovative business or social change idea to solve it. Participants can choose to work individually, or in a group of up to 3.

Our 3 courses are packed with fun videos, interactive downloads and creative templates to launch your journey and help you start in the big wide world of entrepreneurship. Plus, you'll join a community of like-minded young entrepreneurs.

Identify a Problem & Brainstorm a Business Solution

If you're between 7 and 21 years old, this is your opportunity to spark a change. Start by coming up with an innovative business or social change idea that addresses a United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (UN SDG) that inspires you. Whether you're working on your own or in a team, you'll need to all submit your idea individually. If you're under 15, ensure you have parental consent.

Win a Prize Pack from
Microsoft

Upon completing the Challenge, all participants will be awarded a Certificate of Completion to commemorate their creative ideas. 15 Winners will be chosen to receive a prize bundle that includes a Microsoft Surface Laptop and a Gift Pack courtesy of our Prize Partner, Microsoft. Winners will also receive a 12-month Mentoring Package from the Australian School of Entrepreneurship.
